No trackers. No analytics SDKs. Only you can read your data.
01 · Logging
Find your food and log it
Search the curated catalog and tap to log — portions, favorites and recent meals a touch away. Scan a barcode when a packaged product has one; when it doesn’t, search always works. No fiddly forms between you and your food diary.
02 · Catalog
A catalog you can trust
Built from official food-composition data — USDA FoodData Central, the UK’s CoFID, Japan’s food tables — and run through a verification pipeline before it ships. Where a value is our best estimate rather than a measured figure, we flag it “Estimated” on the food’s detail, so you can tell which is which — the numbers that matter, not crowdsourced guesses.
03 · Sources
Best sources, the whole-food way
When you look at the top foods for a nutrient, filter the list to whole and minimally processed foods — so “best sources of calcium” means foods you’d actually put on a plate, not fortified shortcuts. Two levels, one tap.
04 · Targets
Targets made for you
Nutrient targets from official reference values for your region — EU, UK, US, Australia, Japan and more. Set for you, and refined further for age, sex and diet where your region’s data allows.
05 · Safety
Safe-intake alerts
A quiet heads-up when it matters: as your intake nears a safe upper limit, and when some key nutrients stay low over weeks.
06 · myPlan
Plan the week, fill the gaps
Plan meals day by day on the calendar, or ask for ideas matched to your goal. Each suggestion shows its calories, its protein, fat and carbs, and which nutrient gaps it helps fill — with the source it came from. Add one to a day, or add your own.
07 · Nerdy
For when you want the detail
The Nerdy tab is where the data lives. Chart your calories, when you eat them and where they come from — then your vitamins and minerals over time, each with today’s figure, a seven-day average and the trend. Reference lines mark your target and safe upper limits; a numbers table gives the totals behind each chart.
Your food diary is nobody’s business but yours.
myNutrition is local-first: everything you log lives on your iPhone, encrypted. There are no tracking SDKs and no analytics — verified in the app’s build, not just promised. If you turn on cloud backup, your data is encrypted on your device before it leaves — we store only that scrambled copy, which we can’t read. Only your password and recovery code can unlock it.
- Encrypted on your iPhone
- No tracking or analytics SDKs
- Works without a cloud account
- Optional end-to-end-encrypted backup
